Meet Smiley! Smiley is an adorable 2-year-old 50 lb Pittie mix. Smiley is a happy, goofy playful pup and is always happy (and smiling!) when he's out of his kennel. But kennel life is definitely stressing Smiley out and we would love to get this deserving boy out of the kennel and into a loving home ASAP. This beauty is Annie! She is a 1-year-old, 60 lb mixed breed, and an absolute sweetheart! Annie is very friendly, playful, and loving. Her adorable face and soulful eyes beg for lots of attention and our volunteers are more than happy to give it to her! Annie knows some commands but could benefit from some additional training. She will be a quick learner with her eager to please attitude. Add in some regular exercise and she will be a fabulous addition to any family with slightly older children. Meet two of our sweet sweet boys. Brandon and Braxton are 2-year-old poodle mixes. It's very hard getting them to stop and pose. We are still determining if they need to go home together. Big dog lovers don't miss the opportunity to meet this stunning boy! Maximus is an approximately 1 year old Mastiff Mix. He currently weighs about 115 lbs but needs to gain about 20-30 pounds, which should be no problem as he certainly enjoys mealtime! Maximus has a fun and goofy personality. He loves people and is very friendly, seeking out as much affection as he can get from our volunteers. This big hunk of love knows some commands and has learned very quickly how to walk well on a leash. He's also an excellent passenger in the car. Maximus prefers the company of humans over canines, and would need to be the only pet in the home. Maximus is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Frank is a handsome, sweet, and loving companion. He is a Mountain Cur/Shepherd Mix, approximately 7-8 years old and 55 pounds. He absolutely loves snuggling and laying around the house. He also likes to run and play fetch, but overall he is a very calm dog. You can usually find him lying in the sun or by the fire. Frank is well-mannered in the house and sleeps in his cozy crate at night. He knows basic obedience commands and is eager to please. He is anxious and scared of other dogs and would need to be in a home with no other dogs. Because of this, Frank does not do well with boarding facilities and has been scared in these situations. He loves people and would do best with a person or family that can spend quality time with him. Frank is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Look at those amazing eyebrows! Poor Lula needs a new forever home. She was born in 2015 and is a stunning Terrier mix sweetheart. Lula is loving and affectionate. She loves to play ball, sit on your lap, and go for walks.
Lula has a low to medium energy level. She can be left on her own without issue. She is fully housebroken and well-behaved in the home.
Lula needs to be the only pet in the home and is best in an adult home or one with older kids.

Wally is a 3-year-old, 23-lb Chihuahua (+ 18 breed) mix who loves to give kisses and cuddles and be close to his family.

He is a loving, friendly, and loyal dog. He loves to play, eat treats, and go outside. He's quite smart too. Wally knows how to sit and stick out his paw, and even knows commands like "leave it" and "done." Wally loves to play, and he wants to play all the time! He picks up his squeaker toys and approaches you when he's ready for playtime.

He's well-trained when it comes to going to the bathroom. He lets you know when it's time to go with either a little yawn or he looks at his leash. When it comes to sleep, he prefers to sleep in his crate. The routine Wally follows is as follows: he waits until you walk over to the crate so that he can go in and tuck him in with a treat. Sometimes he does get anxious about things. If he sees a bag, or box, or hears a dishwasher running, he will walk the other way. The same goes for rainy days. He will refuse to go outside because it's too scary.

Wally is looking for a loving home with someone a little older preferably without little kids. He has a lot of energy and love. When it comes to diet, he enjoys human food, so if there are eggs and cheese, you will hear his tip toes approaching you very quickly.
